BIBLE STUDY AT APOSTLE'S HOUSE
We conducted a Bible Study Program at the Apostle's House in Newark, New Jersey every Sunday between the hours of 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm for the residents. These sessions which started in the month of September 2017, are well received by the residents who participate.
Apostle's House is a transitional house were persons who have found themselves in a state of homelessness can have an opportunity to have a comfortable place to stay, and are given social services support so that they can get back on their feet and acquire permanent housing. The staff are very warm and courteous.
Our Bible Study sessions are very interactive where participants get to explore scriptures and their relevance to life and their unique experiences. Such sessions are very rewarding not only the residents but also to us as we are better able to customized our sessions to reach individual needs.
Marilyn Mars Ministries of Restoration will continue these session as long as we are welcome by the organization. We intend to continue this work and many other locations of this nature in the near future.
